Munseom
Also known as: Moon Island · Jeju Moon-Island · Munsum · Mun-Sum · Munsom
Munseom lies just off Seogwipo and belongs, together with Beomseom, to the Munseom and Beomseom Nature Reserve (Natural Monument 421). Local dive centres rate it the richest of the three Seogwipo islands in the variety and number of its corals. Walls, boulders and pinnacles are overgrown with purple, yellow and orange soft corals and kelp, and big schools of damselfish gather around them. Tropical and temperate fish mix here, so lionfish, boxfish and angelfish appear alongside morwongs and many nudibranchs. Because the current can be strong, guides warn against drifting too far past the corners of the island. A wreck on the north side of the main island is dived as a separate site.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
