Solvang

Also known as: Solvang II · Solvang III · M/S Solvang

The little freighter broke free in an unexpectedly strong wind and sank in Krakhellesundet loaded with pallets, which is why locals know her as the pallet boat. She stands upright on the sand, with the propeller at about 24 to 25 m and the mast reaching up to 6 or 7 m below the surface. The mast is overgrown with dead man's fingers and plumose anemones and holds much of the life on the wreck. Visibility is often good, and Dykkepedia rates it a very easy wreck dive. It lies a short boat ride from the Fernedale and Parat site.
