Windmill Shallows
On the landward side the ridge lies between about 18 and 27 m, and on the seaward side a wall falls away below 40 m. Several encrusted Admiralty anchors rest on the slope, one still attached to its chain. Upwelling tidal currents make it a drift dive and feed sponges and gorgonians. Rays, turtles, barracuda and nurse sharks are regulars, and the Rum Runner wreck dive off Point Salines starts on this reef.
