Black Forest

Black gorgonians cover the slope from about halfway down to the bottom. Numerous holes in the reef shelter lobsters and porcupinefish, while shrimps, crabs and eels live at the bases of the gorgonians. Rare black cyphoma snails can be found on the sea fans. Aquanauts uses it as one of its deep reef training sites and mentions large sponges and black coral on these deep reefs.
