Kansas Reef

A returning diver named the site because the sea plumes moving in the current reminded him of Kansas cornfields in the wind. The reef starts at about 15 to 17 m and drops to around 50 m. Mackerel, barracuda, creole wrasse and black durgeon feed in the current, and eagle rays and hawksbill turtles appear occasionally. Simnias and whip coral shrimps can also be found.
