Quarantine Reef
A large white sand patch on the eastern side of the reef makes the site useful for training dives. Heading west the reef rises into mounds of old reef rock with overhangs where nocturnal animals and the odd juvenile nurse shark hide. Atlantic longarm octopus, juvenile eagle rays, southern stingrays and pipefish are among the recent sightings.
