Grenada Artificial Reef Project

Also known as: GARP

Dive Grenada gained approval to design, fund and build the first purpose-built artificial reef in Grenada. Hollow concrete modules are designed to help coral settle and to give fish shelter, and more units can be added over time. Coral fragments have been transplanted onto the structures and fish life has moved in. Visitors can join guided dives and take part in activities such as sea urchin counts.
