Dragon Bay
Also known as: Dragon Bay Reef
The dive starts in sand channels that wind north and out between dark volcanic rock, then opens onto a reef slope with sea rods, plumes and sponges. Black coral and deep-water fans begin at around 14 m, and the reef continues as a wall for those who go deeper. A small tug wreck adds interest to the patch reef. Octopus are often seen, and groupers, French angelfish, chromis and spotted morays live on the reef, with southern stingrays and lobster in the deeper part.
