Dabaisha

Also known as: 大白沙 (Chinese (Traditional, Taiwan)) · Da Bai Sha · Dabai Sand

The beach is made of coral fragments and shells, and the water along this coast is more than 20 m deep. Large coral rocks create varied currents and a dramatic landscape of pinnacles. Shore dives often finish in a maze of shallow canyons with caverns full of copper sweepers, where collapsed roofs let shafts of sunlight in. Because the current can be fairly strong and the water is deep, one local dive centre recommends it for scuba diving rather than snorkelling.
