Chub Hole

Also known as: Chubb Hole

Fishermen avoid the area because they only catch Bermuda chub, which left the site to divers. Tarpon rest in the narrow canyons, and slipper lobsters hide in the dark recesses. Northwards the reef becomes more open, with broad overhangs and tall coral fingers, with clouds of juvenile fish in season. The operator reports frequent sightings of large loggerhead turtles in Collier's Bay.
