Black Rock Drop Off
Before moorings, captains found the site by a big black rock on the shoreline, which gave it its name. Where the ridge ends in the east, sand spills over the edge along a meandering channel that passes an overhang decorated with sponges and corals. The wall itself is varied, with headlands, valleys and buttresses rather than straight runs. The operator calls the three resident reef sharks the Bash Brothers.
