Split Rock
East of the split, a ledge is covered in black coral that is especially photogenic in the morning or afternoon light. West of the mooring, several headlands also carry black coral on their western faces, and a little current can be felt around them. Swim-throughs and tunnels cross the wall, and deep sponges often shelter brittle stars.
