MV Xlendi

Also known as: Xlendi

High winds on the day of the scuttling turned the ship over, and the superstructure has since been crushed under the hull. Penetration is not advised, so divers explore the propellers and the upturned hull, about 60 m west of the Karwela. Damselfish shoals, starfish, nudibranchs, flatworms and moray eels live on the wreck, and an old car lies next to it on the shore side. The dive ends with a slow climb over boulders and Posidonia to the Xatt l-Aħmar plateau.
