The Pinnacle

Also known as: Pinaculos

The Pinnacle at Wolf Island is usually done as a drift dive with several swim-throughs and a cave along the route. The safety stop can be made at the pinnacle itself. Strong and changing currents earn it the nickname washing machine, and Happy Gringo counts it among the toughest dives in the Galapagos. Marble rays and reef sharks are common, and the dive can be combined with the nearby caves.
