Beagle Rocks

Also known as: Beagle

Beagle Rocks lie northwest of Santa Cruz and south of Santiago and are named after Darwin's ship. The dive starts on a platform and continues down a wall covered in black coral and sea fans. Colourful reef fish, rays, green turtles and sea lions are common, and Galapagos and hammerhead sharks sometimes pass in the blue. Mantas appear in the hot season from January to May.
