Barranco Cave

Also known as: Cave and Wall Barranco

This dive off San Cristobal enters a cave whose entrance lies in the mid-twenties of metres, then follows a narrow rocky fissure deeper. The cave is about 8 m long with a sandy bottom, and divers ascend before reaching their no-decompression limits. Nudibranchs, slipper lobsters, sea stars, moray eels and small colourful corals live in the fissure. Operators ask for Advanced Open Water or a deep specialty, and a torch is required.
