North Seymour

Conosciuto anche come: North Seymour Point · Seymour Norte

North Seymour is a flat island formed by uplift, a short boat ride from the Itabaca Channel on the north side of Santa Cruz. The dive follows the coastline over a rocky bottom with platforms and small caves where whitetip reef sharks rest, often in groups. Divers move between the reef and open water to look for hammerheads and Galapagos sharks, eagle rays and mobulas. Moray eels and colourful nudibranchs live on the outcrops. Dive centres describe it as suitable for all levels, although it is more exposed to current than the nearby channel site.
