Nameless Rock

Also known as: Isla Sin Nombre · Nameless Island

Nameless Rock, or Isla Sin Nombre, is a lone rock between Santa Cruz and Pinzon whose walls drop steeply. Strong currents from the southeast, down-currents and heavy surge in the shallows make it a dive for experienced divers. Galapagos, silvertip and blacktip sharks and schools of pelagic fish are the attraction, along with turtles and rays. Galapagos Travel Advisor describes it as a site to practise drift diving.
