Fantasy Reef

Also known as: Fantastic Reef · Fantastic

Fantasy Reef owes its name to fields of multicoloured gorgonian fans, some of them more than three metres across. Overhangs, swim-throughs and mixed hard corals add to the scenery. Visibility is frequently over 30 m, and tuna, giant trevally, barracuda and batfish pass by. Turtles and sleeping leopard sharks are often found, and Spanish dancers and dogtooth tuna are mentioned as well. Aore Adventures says it is the only operator diving the site.
