Aore Plane

The plane, thought to be a Dauntless dive bomber, rests at about 26 m and has broken into three main pieces. Around it the reef holds ammunition, glass Coca-Cola bottles and other remains of the American wartime presence. The site lies very close to shore and visibility can be lower than elsewhere, which gives it the character of a muck dive. A large resident moray eel is seen on most dives.
