Muelle de La Restinga
Also known as: El Puerto · Puerto de La Restinga
Diving inside the fishing port of La Restinga is protected by the breakwaters, so only heavy swell stops it. By day the quay offers an easy dive of roughly 8 to 16 m, entered from the steps of the dock. The bottom alternates between white sand, the base of the breakwater blocks and rock slabs. At night stingrays and butterfly rays come in to feed on scraps from the fishing boats, lobsters leave their holes and many shrimps, crabs and molluscs appear. Turtles, cuttlefish, octopus and scorpionfish are also reported.
