Yatush Wreck

Also known as: Yatush · The Mosquito · Netz Patrol Boat

The boat is a Netz class patrol craft originally built in the United States for river warfare in Vietnam, and its popular name Yatush stuck after it was misidentified as a different class of boat. Because it rests on a steep slope, the stern points to the shore at about 24 to 26 m while the bow sits around 30 m or a little deeper depending on the tide. The approach is part of the attraction: divers swim down a slope where large colonies of garden eels stand out of the sand. Shulamit notes that the aluminium hull grows little, while ScubaGo describes coral around the wreck and morays and groupers on it. Ahla advises making the first dive here with a guide who knows the route.
