Paradise
Also known as: Paradise Gardens · Garden of Paradise
Beyond the Satil the slope opens into a seemingly endless coral field with an average depth of about 27 m. Large rock and coral formations stand close together, with sandy hollows between them that Ahla compares to small amphitheatres. Fish life is thinner than on the shallow reefs, but the coral cover itself is the attraction, and divers meet morays, octopus, parrotfish, lionfish and groupers. Shulamit recommends nitrox here and notes that the site can be combined with the Satil in a single dive if air allows.
