Moses Rock
Also known as: Moshe's Rock · Rock Moshe · Cliff of Moses
The rock stands at the edge of the reserve's sandy area, a short swim out from the piers of the paid Coral Beach entrance. So much coral has grown on it that one lap rarely feels enough, and the surrounding sand and reef hold barracudas, scorpionfish, morays, octopus, lobsters and turtles. A smaller pinnacle, Joshua Rock, lies close by, and deeper down the slope continues into a coral wall towards the Japanese Gardens. The site is also used for night dives, which have to be announced to the border control.
