Dekel Canyon

The sandy floor of the canyon runs downhill between walls of hard coral that rise to a healthy reef plateau on both sides. The corals differ from those of the South Beach, and the walls hold fish, nudibranchs, shrimp, crabs and morays. Eilat City describes two canyons at the site. Shulamit lists it as an advanced dive and recommends nitrox.
