Scoglio Spandillo
Also known as: Scoglio Spandiglio · Scoglio Spantillo
Big boulders rise from a sandy bottom with a few patches of seagrass and are coated with cup corals and encrusting sponges. The boulder most exposed to the south-west wind is completely covered with large red gorgonians kept open by the current. In the middle of the rock a short passage with two entrances creates a play of light and is home to a resident dusky grouper. A tuna-trap anchor lies on the bottom at about 27 m.
