Scoglio Palumbo

The ship was carrying salt when it hit the submerged part of the rock in June 1971. Among the scattered remains the engine room and the cabin can still be recognised, and congers, morays and small groupers live in the wreckage. The rock itself is a steep wall about 300 m long that reaches roughly 20 m, cut by hundreds of fissures. A wide seagrass meadow surrounds the site, and the marine park rates it suitable for beginners.
