Pleora
The dive starts along a wall and then follows a reef that begins at about 8 m and slopes gradually northeast into open water, reaching around 40 m at its deepest. The best known feature is a pair of aircraft engines at 20 to 22 m; Mediterranean View Diving identifies the wreckage as an engine of a German Junkers 88 and also mentions bomb shells. Small caverns break up the rock. Groupers, octopus, moray eels and barracuda are regular sightings, along with schools of smaller fish, large anemones and sponges. Creta's Happy Divers describes it as an easy dive that also suits beginners.
