Pointe de Montrémian
Also known as: Piste de ski · Sec de Montrémian
Divers follow the main rocky spur north with the rock on their left, between two ridges, until the sand at about 31 m. Fifty metres off the point stands the Montrémian rock, 4 to 5 m high and covered with red, yellow and white gorgonians, which can easily be circled. The way back climbs the sandy slope, which the park explains as a hydraulic dune where bottom currents push the sand upwards over more than 10 m so that Posidonia cannot settle. Scorpionfish, moray eels and octopus hide in the spur and fan mussels in the meadow. Current is often present, generally running from east to west.
