Le Ramon Mumbru
Also known as: Ramon Meumbru
Built in Hull and previously named Elguezabal, Ballesteros n°2 and Derwent, the ship struck the Enfer reef and then Cap Lardier, and her boats spent the day ferrying cases of cigars to the beach. Salvage divers later stripped the wreck, which is now a shapeless mass on sand and Posidonia that still stands 3 to 4 m proud. Mio Palmo locates it about 400 m north-east of the Cavalaire jetty and warns of boat traffic, swell in east winds and often murky water.
