Nanshin Maru
Also known as: Black Island Wreck
The site is reached on a long day trip from Coron and is often combined with a dive on the Okikawa Maru on the way back. Clear water makes it a good wreck for photographers and for divers new to wrecks. Scorpionfish, lionfish, trumpetfish, groupers and batfish are seen regularly. Its true identity is uncertain, and the local name Nanshin Maru is considered a misnomer.
