Hun Trung

Hun Trung lies on the exposed northern side of the archipelago and receives more current than the other Con Dao sites. Both Underwater Asia and DIVEIN therefore recommend it only for experienced divers. The walls are covered in corals and sea fans, and the current draws in larger fish. The channel between Hun Trung and the main islands is known for tuna, mackerel and barracuda in the blue, and for passing dolphins and sharks. The maximum depth is 40 metres, though DIVEIN says the site is best enjoyed between 15 and 20 metres.
