Lost Anchor
Also known as: Ancora
Lost Anchor is a small, lively site that tops out at about 12 m. Its centrepiece is a low overhang only about a metre above the seabed, under which stingrays and nurse sharks often lie in the quieter spots. A big anchor gives the site its name. Lobsters and many reef fish complete the picture, and the light current makes it an easy dive for all levels. The boat ride from Santa Maria takes about ten minutes.
