3 Caves

Also known as: 3 Grotes · 3 Grutas · Three Caves · Tres Grottes

The site takes its name from three caves that are easy to enter and full of life. They were formed by ancient lava flows, and light filtering in through the openings makes for dramatic scenery. Lobsters, including slipper lobsters, moray eels and large groupers hide among the rocks, while turtles and stingrays are seen around the reef. It is a short ten-minute boat ride from Santa Maria and is dived by divers of all levels.
