Choclassa

Also known as: Tchoclassa · Tchu-Klassa · Tchuklassa Reef

Choclassa lies around 4 km off the coast of Sal and is among the most visited sites of Santa Maria's dive centres. The reef starts at about 14 m and slopes away to 40 m and much deeper, so the same site serves for relaxed dives as well as deep ones. Moray eels, turtles, lobsters and stingrays are common, and manta rays turn up now and then. Volcanic rock formations and sandy channels shape the scenery.
