Cray Cave

Cray Cave is a small, tight archway on the eastern side of Julian Rocks, narrower than the Cod Hole and only passable one diver at a time. It is home to crayfish, painted sweetlips, blue tuskfish, cuttlefish, juvenile angelfish and large cod. When a large wobbegong or Queensland groper occupies it, divers leave it alone. Deep fissures around it give shelter to big fish, and grey nurse sharks spend time here in winter. Gorgonian Hollow is nearby.
