Milln Reef
Milln Reef is made up of several large bommies that rise from sand at around 30 metres to within a few metres of the surface. The reef offers wall dives, pinnacles and swim-throughs, and its best-known sites are Whale Bommie, Petaj Mooring, the Swimming Pools and the Three Sisters. Whitetip reef sharks patrol the edges, turtles rest under overhangs and schools of sweetlips gather around the deeper bommies. At night, divers find parrotfish asleep in mucus cocoons, turtles, reef crabs and painted lobsters. Dolphins are often seen around arriving and departing boats.
