Coral Garden (Saxon Reef)

The site slopes gently from a coral bank down to a flat, shallow sandy bottom with patches of garden eels. Cuttlefish and turtles are often seen along the reef edge, and larger rays sometimes pass through. A part of the site called the Fishbowl is home to juvenile fish sheltering from the weather. At its entrance, pygmy seahorses are occasionally spotted in the seagrass, alongside anthias and spinecheek anemonefish. Snorkellers can float over gobies and small soft corals.
