Eillon

Also known as: Ellion

The Eillon was a freighter seized as a drug boat and kept tied up for six years before it was sunk on 8 June 1996 to become part of the Carlisle Bay Marine Park. At about 110 ft long it is one of the larger wrecks of the bay. It is easy to enter for divers trained to do so. Open Water divers can circle it at the bottom, while Discover Scuba divers get a good view from above.
