Dhonfanu Thila
Also known as: Dhonfan Thila · Donfan Thila
The current splits at the point of the reef, so divers usually descend up-current and let it carry them to the point at around 22 m. A narrow swim-through lined with black coral bushes leads from about 25 m up to about 18 m, and a canyon on the far side drops to about 25 m and is sometimes full of glassfish. During the southwest monsoon the whole thila works as a cleaning station for manta rays. Grey reef sharks, eagle rays, barracuda, dogtooth tuna and schools of jacks and fusiliers are reported. Dive centres advise against it on days of very strong current and recommend nitrox for longer bottom time.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
