Max's Point

Also known as: Max Point

ZuBlu describes it as one of the few Alor sites where divers drift with their eyes on the blue rather than the reef. Depending on conditions the group may head out into open water where hammerheads can pass, and thresher sharks are sometimes seen at dawn. Manta Mae notes that the site can be exceptional one day and empty the next, with marbled rays, unicornfish and mola mola among the possible encounters. Dolphins and blue whales have also been reported.
