Alcatraz

The highlight is a garden of pink to burgundy soft coral trees growing out of the sand, which Alert Diver found at around 27 m and ZuBlu calls one of Alor's most photographed scenes. After the forest, divers follow the edge of the reef where a near-vertical drop-off is covered in sponges, black coral, sea whips and large gorgonians. Schools of reef fish stream along the wall in the current. ZuBlu describes it as a leisurely drift.
