Dive center FREEDIVE UTILA

FREEDIVE UTILA in Utila, Honduras, teaches freediving in English-speaking courses on a small island with warm Caribbean water, short boat rides to sites past 30 metres, and no current to fight on the way back up. It is Utila's only dedicated freediving centre and Central America's only dedicated freediving centre, with a maximum of three students per instructor and instructors who make decisions for the dive, not for a schedule. Training runs from the Freediver course to the Advanced, Master, and Instructor levels, with the AIDA Depth Competition Safety Freediver course also taught there. The centre has been teaching freediving on Utila since 2013, and a week-long diving package with accommodation is available on its waterfront property.
