Ted's Point

Also known as: Teds Point

Close to shore a hard limestone reef flat carries brain and star corals, with spur-and-groove formations leading to the slope. To the east, a small sailboat wreck lies on sand at around 60 ft and often shelters green morays and nurse sharks. Westward the sandy bottom falls away along a steepening wall, and archways and caverns cut into the reef crest. Garden eels, octopus and spotted eagle rays are seen on the sand, and Underwater Vision mentions a resident frogfish.
