Delsan Wreck

Delsan Wreck takes its name from a small ship that ran onto the south-eastern edge of the South Atoll at night in 1981; little of it remains and it mainly serves as a landmark. The reef top starts at about 5 m and slopes gently to a wall at 23 m. A crevasse known as The Cut drops to around 40 m and offers shelter from the current, while grey reef sharks hunt schools of fish inside it. Dogtooth tuna, great barracuda, giant trevally, whitetips and occasionally hammerhead or tiger sharks make this one of the park's best predator dives. A cleaning station on the reef also attracts turtles and rays.
