Staghorn Point

Staghorn Point is named after the thickets of staghorn coral that start at about 7 m and roll on for some 500 m towards the edge of a deep wall. Dive The World calls it the most reliable manta ray site of Tubbataha, with oceanic and reef mantas visiting cleaning stations near the plateau, mostly early in the season. Schools of sweetlips use cleaning stations too, which makes them easier to approach. In the blue, barracuda schools, resident eagle rays and huge sea fans and soft corals along the drop-off complete the dive.
