La Guasa
別名: Piedra de la Guasa · La Guaza
La Guasa lies at the north-western edge of the national park, roughly 1.5 km off the western end of Gran Roque, and the boat ride takes under ten minutes. The site is made of three rocks: the main spire starts around 35 m and tops out near 8 m, while the two smaller ones reach up to about 12 m and 18 m. Because two currents meet here, the rocks gather both reef fish and open-water visitors such as large groupers, snappers, barracuda and turtles. Black coral, cup corals, encrusting sponges and gorgonians cover the rock. Open-sea current and some swell make it a dive for more experienced divers, and it is popular for wide-angle photography.
