Mama Hanh Beach

Mama Hanh Beach is a gently sloping reef that starts at about a metre and runs down to sand at around 15 metres, with rocky outcrops reaching about 20 metres. The coral gardens are shallow and sheltered, which is why Sea Coral uses the site for courses and first dives. Butterflyfish, triggerfish and surgeonfish are common, and divers look for seahorses, lobsters, lionfish and pipefish. On the sand beyond the corals, Wannadive mentions sand eels and partner gobies. Together with Madonna Rock it belongs to the north-side sites that trips often visit from May to October.
