When the current pushes up from the deep it brings food to the pinnacle tops, and tuna, jacks, eagle rays, barracuda and sometimes sharks follow. Residence Peramal mentions a huge anchor standing upright with its chain overgrown by coral. Blue Water's second section, Eagles Peak, is the upper part of a pinnacle with big schools of fusiliers and dogtooth tuna, and occasionally hammerhead sharks. Destination Ile Maurice reserves it for confirmed level 2 divers.
