The usual mooring lies right beside the twin pipes at 10 to 12 m, and divers follow them down to the reef, which makes the site easy to navigate. At the sand they can turn east towards Las Lenguas, west towards Atlantis, or follow the pipes to their end, where life tends to be richest. The colonised pipeline offers shelter to bream, wrasse and barracuda, while stingrays, small eagle rays and angel sharks rest on the sandy bottom. Dive College reports mild current and good visibility, and the site is used for training as well as leisure dives.
